Play-BIG is a system toy produced by BIG-Spielwarenfabrik GmbH & Co KG (also known for the Bobby-Car they produced) from 1975 to 1979. It essentially consists of play figures and corresponding accessories. Compared to the still successful competitor product Playmobil, these are somewhat larger and tend to have the proportions of adult humans. Legs and feet can be moved individually.

The second generation of Play-BIG play figures differs in that they have interchangeable front and back panels, which were intended to provide increased realism and benefited the expansion of the product range. The accessories are altogether more detailed and closer to reality than those of the Playmobil products of the time, e.g. the vehicles usually have real models.
