The assortment included the typical range of figures of the time with knights, lansquenets, castle dwellers, Indians and cowboys, but also featured railway personnel, travellers and passers-by and unusual figure scenes such as garden gnomes, bums, riders and jockeys, storks with nests, wild and farm animals, sailors and pirates. In the 80s, the market share continued to decline due to a lack of innovations. In the mid-90s, Merten Miniaturplastiken, Berlin was sold to the Preiser company.
